presents a Summer Creative Intensive

The Kiatud Creative Summer Intensive is an arts program taught by life-long Valley artists for young people in Orange and the surrounding area.

The Summer Creative Intensive will offer skills development and a creative outlet for children in grades 4- 7 who are passionate about the arts.  Through practicing the technical aspects of drawing, painting, and other creative forms students will develop problem solving skills, hand eye coordination and spatial awareness.  Students will have the opportunity to express their creative voice and work with art to explore their issues, questions and emotions.  Within a professional studio setting, students will learn to stretch, exercise and use their creative muscles. This Summer Creative Intensive differs from traditional arts programs by providing each student with individual attention, tailored instruction, and access to advanced materials.

You can support the Kiatud Creative Summer Intensive by clicking the PayPal donation button on this page and specify your gift to the Kiatud Creative Summer Intensive. Any amount helps and all funds go directly to this new and exciting summer program developed right here in Orange.

Life-long Valley Artist Stephen Batiz was inspired to develop this program while teaching in the Orange Public School after school program. Batiz and fellow teacher Vladimir Jean saw the need for more concentrated time with students and access to a greater variety of creative materials. Both artists are dedicated to cultivating local talent and supporting the creative expression of young people in Orange.

Funds will go directly to supplies, teacher time, and food & beverages for students.

This program will operate in partnership with ORNGInk & University of Orange
