Main Street for All

The Urbanism Department wants to raise $7,500 for outreach and education around the city’s Main Street Plan, which proposes to demolish the historic buildings serving nearby neighbors and replace them with 5-10 story market-rate apartments. This shift will speed gentrification and displacement, and eliminate the opportunity for asset-based community development.
