Join us TONIGHT, Friday December 2nd, at 7PM for Remembering Rosa, Remembering Robeson.

You can view the livestream in two places. Either on the University of Orange YOUTUBE page or the University of Orange FACEBOOK page.

We will also be live and in-person at Central Elementary Auditorium (33 Cleveland St, Orange, NJ). We ask that in-person attendees consider wearing a mask and taking a rapid test before coming, to keep our communities safe from Covid-19.

Support our Annual Fund Campaign: Building Infrastructure for the Long Haul

At UofO, we envision a society where place-based knowledge is honored, learning is recognized as a life-long and collective endeavor, and every person has the right to stay, learn and grow with the places they love.

UofO is currently in a period of growth. In 2016 we launched Music City and the 400 Years of Inequality initiative, which led to vastly expanded organizational capacity and connections both locally and nationally. As we continue to grow we are hosting more learning spaces where we confront the key issues of our time: climate change, racial inequality, and the Covid-19 pandemic.

Please consider donating to our annual campaign to support our restoration urbanism work and our infrastructure for the long haul. We thank you for your continued support!

The University of Orange is a free school of restoration urbanism in Orange, NJ founded in 2008 and building on a 64-year history of progressive organizing in the city. We build collective capacity for our friends, neighbors, and partners to cultivate a just and equitable city. We offer free courses, work in local coalitions to promote education across the lifecycle, and advocate for equity in urban planning. We hold at once the recognition that racist and classist policies continue to shape cities everywhere, and that the resources we need to heal already exist within our neighborhoods. We solve the problems of our world by learning to see the richness of our cities, becoming lifelong learners, participating in civic life, and having fun with our neighbors.

University of Orange Inc. is a 501c3 tax-exempt organization, and donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
